The first time I ever came across the word COMMON SENSE that was when I was a young lad, I smiled to myself and i can remember pondering on the word for weeks.

Branding is just like common sense it is what everybody should have.

Everybody needs brand sense, whatever you do, this is for you.

Permit with me to share with you the story of Emmanuel a great CEO who owns a booming business and is happy.

Emmanuel is a brand as his name has become a household name when it comes to his niche.

 Emmanuel is a fashion designer but not the regular tailor you know, he has gone ahead to differentiate himself, he not only has a shop but a well branded shop that stands out.

He has a standard show room where his cloths are sampled just like the boutique, he also has a workshop and that where the real work happens, he has a receptionist who welcomes and attend to customers while he faces his work.

The receptionist doubles as the companies graphics designer and social media manager.

He is called the packaging fashion designer in his street, he has gone ahead to open a blog where he blogs about fashion he also run a community on Social media where he helps people understand how to dress good and neat.

This has given him consultation jobs with fashion agencies, politicians and even couples who wants to wed but don't know what colours and styles to use for their wedding.

Building a brand is what help Emmanuel to achieve all these things because as a brand people love, trust and believe the more in him.

Now I hope you know why it is important to be build a personal  brand and also own a business brand.

Brand sense will be about branding and you, it will be a place that you would be exposed to nitty gritty of branding.

I know someone would ask but I don't own a business so I don't think I need this.

As far as you are a human being then you need this!

By the way branding is not just for business owners alone but for everybody.

WHAT IS A BRAND?

: a category of products that are all made by a particular company and all have a particular name

: a particular kind or type of something

Going by the last definition ( A particular kind of something) it means that we are all brands.

You are exceptional, no one was created exactly the same way you were created, you are different and special and that makes you a brand, remember we have two kinds of brands PERSONAL AND CORPORATE BRANDS.
